Unpopular opinion but I'm gonna say it. This VN is LEAUGES better than Adastra and Echo could ever hope to be, and it should be just as, if not more popular than both.
I went into this with more of a "Might be good?" expectation than anything, but oh man, this was unexpectedly brilliant - like legitimately, stunningly fantastic.
Without spoilers - I've only played through Sissel's route so far (as far as it's available), and it simultaneously delighted and devastated me. I gave up counting how many times it got me tearing up (happy or sad), but the way he and the story are fleshed out just draws you in and makes you truly, DESPERATELY root for things to work out for him. Everything's developed so well, it just makes it feel so alive and almost tangible. The happy moments are joyous to experience, and the sad ones are real gut-punchers.
I managed to catch the foreshadowing for some twists and got blindsided by others, which is testament to how well balanced the writing is, the story has gotten me hooked, and the artwork is great. I love the characters, the jokes land consistently, and I just can't wait to see more of it!
It's fun, it's cheesy, and it will also result in you being a melancholy wreck for the rest of your day.
Apart from (in my opinion) a slight pacing issue towards the start, this is frankly brilliant. The dev has a lot of talent and if this is "unfinished", I can only imagine how great the final version will be.

Honestly thanking god right now that i decided to check this novel out, the story is extremely well written and kept me interested until the very "end" ;) the characters are wonderful and the stories and events they go through are engaging in ways i couldn't imagine, i have unceremoniously been playing this game for at least 10 hours and that "to be continued" hit harder than that truck at the end.

I had a question for the writer or someone else who could clear this out for me, in the final scenes of Sissel's route, during the car chase, one of the bullets was supposed to hit Hershel's truck window, cracking it. though when they fall into the lake the window seems to be intact, only cracking because of the impact and still holding up the weight of the water pressure around them, i was wondering if i just read it wrong or if this was just a slight mistake from the writer's side. either way the story is perfect on it's own and I can't wait for it to continue (still haven't read the other two routes though...).

I absolutely love this game, but I think it needs a patch. The game has had many problems with not loading images, and right now I'm redownloading the game again because I booted up the game today and none of the images were loading at all, except for the main title image and the save icon thumbnails. I really appreciate the work you've put into this, but please release a patch to fix these issues.

This is the first time I’ve heard about these kind of issues from my many years working on this game so I’m wondering if this is a replicable error or if it’s caused by something more local. What operating system are you playing on? And have you ever moved or made any adjustments to the VN folders in any way?
I just finished the most recent update and I have to agree with so many other people, that this is the best VN I've read, and am completely and irrevocably in love with this story and its characters. I'm on the edge of my desk chair waiting for the next update to be dropped and was wondering when that might be? Regardless I can't wait to reread this again when that time comes. You probably need to go to an earlier save if you have one, rollback a bit, or (I really hope not) start from the beginning again. Sometimes the save is at a point where it's stuck on the old version and will lead to the end (to be continued screen), you saved on that screen or it's been completely rearranged and you somehow saved at a bad point.
Hello, viewers of this fine VN. I have some brief news pertaining to "Repeat"'s development. Read on if you are curious. Chances are, many of you are indeed.
Development has NOT ceased. It has been slowed, rather, due to deeper issues that needed to be dealt with, not all strictly exclusive to the VN itself. Furthermore, the current tentative plan is to complete Sissel's route before returning to the other novel of Shirokoi's, "Temptations Ballad", for an update (or multiple, it is not confirmed for how long), and then returning to work on Owen's route. Progress IS coming along, and there should be an upcoming update in not too long! You just need to hang tight. Don't forget that all the artwork, script, typo-fixing, literally everything, is being done by just Shirokoi. That would eat at literally any person's sanity, each and every part of the game being developed solely by you alone, for years.
Also, this part isn't news, just a personal request. I'm sure all of you want more from this VN. It is a wonderful experience, and lovingly crafted by this single man. But please try not to constantly ask for a subsequent update and/or release date. It is being worked on, try not to add stress to the creator, they are trying their best!
Have patience! "Repeat" is not dead, and more is coming! Sooner than you might think, as of writing this post...
This a HUGE relief thank you for saying something and it's very understandable working by yourself on a masterpiece like Repeat would take forever so all we can do is wait if it's taking this long than you know it's going to be 100% perfect it may be a while but the wait will be worth it 🙂
