Heyo, hope everyone's new year is off to a good start! I unfortunately came down with the sickness ;;;w;;
Anywho, hopefully I can spice up your new year with the next part of Chapter 4 of Temptation's Ballad. The beginning of this chapter leans slightly on the slow-burn side so I hope y'all don't mind the slower pacing of it. It feels weird to do some quiet worldbuilding here after working on the climax of Repeat for so long QwQ
Changelog:
- 11,381 words of story have been added to Chapter 4!
- 2 New CGs
- 2 New Background Illustrations
- 2 New Cassius Sprites
- New Spell Effect animation for Cassius
- 13 more of Artemi's sprites have been revised with clean lineart and cell-shading. As of now, all of her sprites have now been HD-ified!
- The following characters' sprite files have been converted and compressed from PNGs to WEBP, reducing the file size footprint from 11.07MB to 2.88MB: Artemi, Calder, Cassius, Gaius, Grank, and Wes.

Its been a while (probably like a year or more) since I've read this vn. It still has the same charm and the updated U.I. was a veary nice touch. I am hopeful of the future. I have recently started plans for a vn but after realizing the amount of effort that goes into making one of these I have a newfound respect (especially since you are writing TWO vn simultaneously).
If anything, please see them to the end. I have no qualms paying double for a finished project (don't you dare sell yourself short)
P.s. I hope the stickers are still for sale, I still need to buy the Artemi one.

Deep story with characters with their own issues (and characters with trauma are really something, that's a compliment). I can't wait to see the ending, I hope.. If the ending is they can't be happy, I hope it can be a true ending.
note: thanks for the adult content warning so people who want to pass by can pass by in peace (but it doesn't stop you from turning red in embarrassment because of seeing the closeness of each character to each other in normal dialogue :)
I have a problem! As usual, I transferred my saves to this new version to play the new part, but whatever save I try to load, it gives me error! And I can't roll back nor do anything, and it gives me problem with ANY save! I save so many times during my games, so I have a save like... every 10 minutes, but it doesn't matter, my saves, the automatic ones, even the ones of more than a year ago of many versions ago, anything gives me error! What can I do? Pls help :(

awww. she isnt the bright sunshine dog anymore... i mean ,more details is nice. but i think the bright yellow suited her well.
The new sprites uses the exact same color palette as the old one, just with shading.
ah, so that what it is, sorry. with the new shading it just looked like an overall darker yellow to me.
its probably will just take me some time to getting used to it. so dont mind me. keep up the good work.
i loved the writing in the update. (got a huge chuckle out of the scene where sidd and cole mocked her for the ring gift xD )
I always found it funny that before Artemi had these HD sprites, when she got shocked her lineart when away and always said "wow that was so shocking that Artemi's lines jumped off"
